Approach

We were briefed by Alpha Group to raise awareness of Super Wings to family audiences. Working with Flybe airlines we ran bespoke on board activity resulting in children on summer flights all receiving a Super Wings colouring and activity sheet pack.

The activity was supported by social media competition activity running in conjunction with promotion from Smyths Toys superstores.

Flybe had such positive results from the campaign they selected Super Wings to be involved in their Santa Flight initiative, delivering seasonal cheer to very ill children and their families in a special trip to ‘The North Pole’ from Belfast City Airport. Jett, from Super Wings, made an appearance and delivered goody bags and smiles to families taking part in the event.

Results

The campaign reached over 200 routes throughout summer with over 30,000 children entertained by interactive and puzzling activities driving traffic with retail mentions along with 9,000 competition entries.
