Skyrocket Toys UK, celebrated the hotly anticipated retail launch of Blume, the new collectible doll line, with a nationwide event across all 168 branches of The Entertainer on Saturday 27th July.

At The Entertainer’s Kingston store, located in the Bentall Centre, fan-favourite YouTube stars Ruby and Bonnie made an exclusive appearance and wowed the crowds, counting down and showcasing the unexpected doll opening experience. Children couldn’t believe their eyes as they watched the dolls blumed from their pots and queued up to get hands on’ with Ruby and Bonnie to unveil their own Blume doll purchases.

s across all stores, supported by a host of thrilled influencers, YouTubers and bloggers, simultaneously ‘unblumed’ the first 22 unique dolls featuring their revolutionary patent-pending reveal technology to amazed shoppers and online audiences.

Teeing up the inaugural nationwide event was a Twitter Party brand reveal, hosted by some of the UK’s leading parenting and family bloggers, which managed to trend on the platform, even charting ahead of the week’s important political news and capturing the imagination and engagement of thousands of consumers at #blumedolls.

The sensational dolls bloom right out of their flowerpots with just a sprinkling of water, with each doll creating an instant ‘wow’ – blooming bigger than its pot. Each has ten surprises to uncover, including an outrageously-cool hairstyle, fashionable outfit and accessories, a cute mini friend and sticker book all with stunning colour and sparkle.  Twenty-two blind-packed dolls are in the first collection and range from “adorable to “rare” and “super rare”, with one “ultra-rare” doll to find. All pieces are part of the play with no unnecessary extra trash generated from the fun – all for an SRP of £10.00.

About the Entertainer

The Entertainer was founded in 1981 in Amersham, Buckinghamshire by husband and wife team, Gary and Catherine Grant, who now with two of their sons, instil the driving force and mission – “To be the best-loved toyshop – one child, one community at a time”.
